Pearls of Wisdom from Parama Pujya Shri Shri Nimishananda Guruji

Self Effort :

Ninety percent of our karma is experienced in this lifetime itself. The other ten percent is transferred to the following lives. Yet, even this can be dissolved in the presence of Mahatmas by following their teachings and serving them with complete devotion and surrender.

Up On The Hills

Dear friends,

On Saturday, we took a family outing to Bukti Tinggi for a day trip as my sister was on leave. It was quite a hilly place and totally calm. Though we enjoyed ourselves very much, for the first time, I was looking at the place from a different point of view.

To me, the place looked very calm and peacefull and i just felt that it would be the bst spot to just sit and think of God and sing his praises. The thought just came to me so naturally that I was waiting to get home and do some meditation.

A we drove along the roads, there was a sign board that showed the way to an "Athma Temple". We followed the signboard and it let us straight to a temple that had a deity. The temple was sort of an open concept. there was a shrine in the middle of a platform with a roof. Looking at the deity, it looked like Lord Brahma. It was so serine and calm and totally simple. There did not appear to be any priest anywhere. We paid our homage to the great lord and I chanted "Om Jai Gurudeva" It felt so right and wonderful.

For the first time in my life I could understand why is it that Yogis go the quiet places and why the Great Himalaya is the abode of Sages.

I thank God for giving me the opportunity to tap into divine thoughts and have a insight into "the realm of pece and meditation"

May all such nature be preserved forever for mankind to reallise and feel God within.

Om Jai Matha! Om Jai Gurudeva!
